Quite handy for us living on the shaky side every day...
I live in Tokyo Japan and obviously since the last magnitude 8.9 quake on Friday, Ive been using this app every 10 minutes. This app delivers excellent data and visuals.
A good idea for the dev team would be to upgrade it with a warning system (ringing an alarm and/or sending an email) that the user could personalize according to his needs and area (i.e.: I want a warning of anything going above 6.2 at a radius of 700miles of Tokyo City.)
Quake waves travel at the speed of sound so when a seism cracks in the sea in front of Sendai, a warning from the app could give a good 30 seconds for people in Tokyo to make a life saving move...
